It's a good score, I know, but I ain't happy. XD

Talking to some classmates and the teacher that prepared us, I realized there was a general feeling of discontent - many of us did well in the exam, but we really felt underprepared before taking it. And the exam was very very different - and more difficult - from what we had been practicing in class.

I KNOW I could have done better!

Anyways, it's done now - and I get to rest! Heeee!

I know I haven't posted in ages, but now that I finally post, I'm happy to say I have good news:

Remember I'm moving out to my own apartment soon?

Well, the construction is soon to be over, so I finally got to see what my apartment looks like! :D Well, I didn't actually see my apartment - the whole building is almost ready, and they've already finished all of the apartments except for the ones on the first floor. The finished ones are already closed and locked up until they're finally given away to their owners. The apartments on the first floor are yet to be finished, but those are open to all buyers so we can see what they look like. :P

So I've seen the apartment on the first floor that looks exactly like mine, which is on the ninth floor. I've taken pictures, but I do apologize for them being so crappy - excitement makes me take awful piccies! XD

Still I guess you can get an idea of what it looks like - it's small, but we're already working on ideas to make it the coziest little place in the world!

Plus, the best part is that it's MINE, IT'S ALL MINE! :D

I know I've been TOTALLY away, but it's all for the right reasons... And hopefully soon I'll tell you what I've been up to. :D

So, HOW IS EVERYBODY?? :D

I'm back in class already, starting this week... I'm actually excited about it, even though my classes aren't really that exciting! XD Hopefully I'll get rid of them and move on to greener pastures next year. Good things are I'm finally starting with a whole new repertoire in my piano class, and I'm also back to my German lessons. This year I switched to a different institution for my German classes - now I'm at the local Goethe Institute, which offers me a whole 6-year course and the opportunity to take as many international exams as I want. :P Looks like this course goes at a faster pace than the one I took before, because in the first class we were already bombarded with LOTS of stuff. XD But, hey, I couldn't be happier! I'm really enjoying it. :D

But perhaps the best part is going back to school is actually buying stationary and other supplies! I even bought myself a new bag... Because I actually need a rather big bag to carry my folder, my books and all that jazz.

I'm in love with my new bag, which is proving to be VERY useful and looks like this:

Anyway, I just wanted to say hi and let you all know that I'm still alive and slowly reading and commenting on your journals. :P

I really, REALLY love to read. I absolutely love books! I'm always tempted by a new book, and I just love the smell of new books... Don't you?

Unfortunately, I've been slacking a bit on my reading lately, mostly because I was busy with my final and everything, but now that I'm officially free, I want to catch up on my reading!

So, yesterday I bought myself three books, and today I picked up quite a few books I have at home and I've been meaning to read for ages. My reading list suddenly became HUGE, but, well, I have to deadline, so I'm just gonna enjoy all these books on my new reading list!

I FINALLY got rid of that freaking piano final...

And I PASSED!

You wouldn't believe the bliss I'm in right now... I've been dragging that final for quite some time, and now that I'm done with it, I feel a major burden has been lifted off my shoulders.

I didn't do as well as I would have wanted to, but still I passed. I still get really nervous when I play in front of people, and that always makes my performances be worse than they could be. Nevertheless, the teachers that listened to me for the final (including my own teacher) were really encouraging. They've told me I really have what it takes to be a good pianist - I just have to get rid of my fears.

Sometimes I feel people trust me more than I trust myself. That's something I'm working on changing about myself, and I know I'll change it... Slowly, one step at a time.

I'm a really happy camper right now. :) Things are going really well. I feel there's still a lot ahead of me, but I'm enjoying myself every step of the way. This year has stared out really well for me, and I'm hoping things will continue looking up. :)

That being said...

I'M BACK, PEOPLE. :D

Just incredibly busy!

I'm back at work, and I'm studying like a b!tch because in a couple of weeks I will FINALLY take that darned piano exam I've been postponing forever!

This means I'm not really devoting much time to my online activities, but hopefully I will be back to my usual self once I'm done with this final.

I will keep you posted about my progress, and I'll let you know once I finally have an official exam date, alright?

IT'S ME!!!

HELLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, WORLD!

I've been a bad BAD LJer and friend, because I actually came back to Rosario last Sunday, but I've been too lazy to post anything. XDDDD

I'm back full force now - back at work, back studying, back at pretty much everything. But that doesn't mean I'm back in reality, because I certainly ain't! This trip to Buenos Aires was one of the best things that ever happened to me, not only because I really managed to disconnect myself from my usual routine (we had no schedules, nothing was predetermined), but also because sharing nine days of my life with four awesome people like Rory, Ryo, Nadia and Catu has been a really changing experience. I can't believe how much I've learned apart from all that we enjoyed the time we spent together.

If things go well, I'll be back in Buenos Aires in March/April! We've ravaged lots of stores and bought as many Duran Duran things as possible, BUT I WANT MORE! XD SO BEWARE, BUENOS AIRES! XDDD

I'll try to catch up with your latest entries one step at a time, but I just wanted to say HI! WE'VE ALL BEEN MISSED!

First of all, thanks for all the kind birthday greetings and everything. :D I felt really loved yesterday, and you're responsible for a great part of that feeling. :D

Now I'm posting this hiatus note because I'm going away to Buenos Aires for nine days. :D I'm leaving tomorrow morning, and I'll be back on Sunday Jan 27. I will most likely not be checking my email during those days (and if I do, it won't be too often), so I'm not gonna be commenting on posts and all that jazz. Will try to catch up when I'm back, though. :P

So, for now, don't miss me too much, even though I'm positive I'm gonna miss you. :P

I just finished reading ALL of my old email! Back on Friday I had around 900 unread emails, and now I just managed to read them all. :D I left around 100 emails and LJ comments to answer, mostly really old fanfiction I want to read. :) Some posts were ABSOLUTELY AWESOME, but after months of sitting there, there's no fun in answering them now. XD The momentum is kinda gone, I'd say. XD

ANYWAY

While reading all these emails, I started sailing around home decoration websites, because, if everything goes well, I might get my apartment by the end of February. :D I still have absolutely NOTHING for my apartment (well, that's not true - my family has already started giving me home-related presents, and I also own my beloved David Bowie poster! XD), and I need to buy all the BIG stuff, such as furniture and the like.

IT'S SO EXCITING TO START DECORATING FROM SCRATCH. :D Tomorrow I'm gonna start visiting whatever big decoration houses I can find in my city, and also start looking at some design magazines. Of course you can never make your house look exactly like those amazing spaces in those magazines, but, what the heck, at least you can get ideas!

So, I'M EXCITED! :D
